Mourning Butterflies by Daura Hernández García
Synopsis
We all lose things: possessions, places, people, our perceptions of ourselves or others, life plans and opportunities. Yet the grief these losses bring often goes unnoticed, even as it continues to shape us.
How do we express it? How do we feel it? How do we share it?
We can only witness another person’s loss from the outside; the moment we feel it from within, it becomes our own. Standing outside, what are you about to see?
